Personal History:

I was born in San Bernardino, California, and live with my wife, Lynette,
and 13-year-old son, Scottie, and dogs, Holly, Zena and Pookie, in the Richland
neighborhood. I’ve lived in San Marcos from 1980 to 1990, and returned in 2001.
Since 1980, I’ve have continued working locally in San Marcos, remaining as an
integral part of the community while serving on various organizations, such as
the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos Youth Baseball and others.
I’ve always enjoyed being part of the process when it comes
to my community. My interests have been diverse over the years ranging from
Bassett Hound breeding, showing, training and judging in the U.S. and abroad to
collecting comic books and trading cards and following our local sports teams,
Our San Diego Padres and the Chargers!! (a home-team guy!).
Presently, my wife and I enjoy our son's many baseball games,
local involvement in youth sports, San Marcos Youth Baseball, and fundraising
for our son's local travel baseball team, The Sting from San Marcos Baseball
Club. This has been a major commitment for our family as well as being involved
in activities related to Scottie’s school.
